Flat Earth

Angry Planet Pale Ale
This brew is a good example of what happens when old mother nature gets mad. Angry Planet is made with organic American 2-row, C60 and Munich malts. Featuring Cascade hops, with a large dry hop addition. An aroma of citrus and light toast. A nice flavorful punch of citrus hop is balanced by slight caramel sweetness and plays off on the hop bitterness. Pairs well with yak momo, pizza & pad thai.

Cygnus X-1 Porter
Named after a black hole and a song, this is a porter like no other. We took an old English porter recipe, added some rye malt, and our porter was born. This brew floods your palate with hints of chocolate, biscuit and all-around roasty goodness with just a touch of smoke that finishes dry but is not overpowering. Perfect with roasts or fowl. Enjoy by the fire, and it will surely warm you on any cold evening in the Great White North.

Element 115 Lager
The name Element 115 comes from an undiscovered element on our periodic table. UFO experts claim that it is an essential component that allows UFOs to fly. The brew represents a truly unique American beer style known as California common. This San Francisco style lager is a deep amber color, full of malty goodness and assertively hopped for an exceptionally balanced and smooth beer. This brew marries the full malt character of ale with the smoothness of lager. This beer goes great with just about any food, but try it with your favorite entrée slathered in BBQ sauce or a spicy Asian dish. Serve cold, of course.

Black Helicopter Coffee Stout
A clandestine mission to parts unknown inspired the creation of this fine stout. Black Helicopter has been infused with the finest roasted coffee on the planet. The beans were secretly flown to our roaster in the sleepy hamlet of Minneapolis, where they were transformed into delicious coffee. Enjoy this beer with the closest of friends. You never know who is watching. Malt beverage with coffee added.

Belgian Style Pale Ale
Is a complex Belgian style Pale Ale, brewed with Belgian malts that yield a copper-red hue with hints of raisin, cherry and toast. The moderate yeast character marks itself with flavors of clove and spice but finishes dry to leave you thirty for more. The Belgian style session ale is brewed to be enjoyed with a variety of foods, but try it with steamed mussels, a rack of lamb or a char grilled steak.

Northwest Passage IPA
Only the hardiest of individuals can handle the Northwest Passage. Once the illusive and impassable Northern trade route from Bering Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, it has now become a "secret" submarine route. A perfect blend of Canadian malts and American hops go into creating this hop centric beer. It will help keep you presrved on your covert missions and refreshed at the same time. One of the Hoppiest beers in the Midwest. Northwest Passage pairs well with spicy curries, sharp cheese, pho and buffalo wings.

Bermuda Triangle Tripel
Only the finest Belgian grains were brewed with Belgian candied sugar and orange blossom honey from the Bermuda Triangle then aged for several months to produce a bright, golden ale bursting with flavors of lemon, spice, and a touch of that orange blossom honey sweetness. This is an ale that is deceptively smooth and easy drinking, so be careful not to lose yourself in the flavors of Bermuda Triangle.

Extra Medium Ale
This American wild ale brewed using a blended strain of yeat that created this unique and refreshing beer. Brewed in the summer and allowed to age in an unjacketed tank for a year to fully develop its flavors. Extra Medium has an aroma of tart cherries, lemon and a slight inner city funk. It is refreshingly tart and sour with hints of orange marmalade, whiskey and citrus rind. Extra medium pairs well with salads, pungent cheeses and angel food cake.

Ovni Ale
AVailable TBA in 1902, one hundred feet of the Eiffel Tower had to be replaced after it was struck by an electrical discharge. Many believe the source of that surge was from a passing flying saucer. Ovni (flying saucer in French) Ale commemorates the great craftsmanship that went into repairing the tower. This French style bier de garde is made with the finest imported malt and hops. This beer has a substantial malt character with a mild hop bitterness. Ovni Ale pairs well with bouillabaisse, wild game pasta.

Rode Haring Flanders Red Ale
Available Spring 2010 Rode haring is Dutch for red herring, a distraction from the reality. Rode Haring has a sharp, sour and tart aroma and flavor mixed with a mild fruitiness created by a special yeast strain. We aged this beer for over a year before blending it with a fresh batch of beer. Enjoy Rode Haring with oysters, foie gras and grilled meat.

Winter Warlock
Available in December Winter Warlock was made in the tradition of some of England's great barley-wine ales. The beer is made with delicious bas malt and sugar. Boiled for over two hours to caramelize some of the sugars. The final product is as smooth as freshly resurfaced ice with a subtle hop character. This beer pairs nicely with calamari, ham and quail.
